RaftProt:Mammalian Lipid Raft Proteome Database

Lipid rafts are cholesterol-rich membrane microdomains that regulate a diverse range of cellular functions. RaftProt is a searchable database of proteins published in mammalian lipid raft proteomics studies. A subset of ‘High Confidence’ bona fide lipid raft proteins was derived based on the criteria of reported identification by more than one biochemical isolation method and/or sensitivity to extraction by the cholesterol-depleting agent methyl-beta-cyclodextrin.
